The Owen Hart Foundation (OHF) happily presents the 2023 “OHF Backpacks Giveaway for the Community”. This initiative provides backpacks, school supplies, and additional items (dental hygiene, stuffed animals, snacks…) to ensure children in-need are prepared for the upcoming school year with the basic tools necessary to perform successfully in the classroom. This year the OHF is providing 1000 stuffed backpacks to the general-public and is partnering again with the Calgary Police Youth Foundation (CPYF) adopting several schools.

The OHF has partnered with the Calgary Police Youth Foundation for the OHF Backpack Giveaway for a few years now. In 2021, a total of 675 backpacks to all students at Holy Trinity School and 500 backpacks to the general public! A special thanks goes to TRAPPED Escape Room, our wonderful OHF Committee, and our fabulous Calgary Police Department for helping those in-need and keeping us all safe (and giving Doc Hart the cool CP baseball cap!). Thanks as well as the Principal and Vice Principal at Holy Trinity School! Thanks a ton to our fantastic supporters and donors, Juventus Soccer Club, Terra Dental Care, Richmond Dental Clinic, Dr. Rob Meloff, Pipella Law, The Grand Lodge of Alberta IOOOF, After Eight Interiors, TEPF, Global News, JACK FM, and Clintar Landscaping for providing all the popcorn.
