Our OHF crew (Doc Hart, Oje, Virginia, Pina, Deanna, and Jimmy Lee) recently spent a day volunteering in beautiful Waterton Lakes National Park alongside the Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo Conservation Team and Parks Canada! 🌿 The group tackled an important conservation mission: removing invasive spotted knapweed to help protect critical habitat for the Curiously Isolated Hairstreak butterfly, one of Canada’s rarest butterflies! 🦋 Making a difference for wildlife can start with something as simple as pulling a weed (or maybe a few thousand 😉). Every invasive plant removed gives native plants a chance to thrive and helps create a healthier home for the incredible species that depend on these landscapes. The OHF had a blast in Montreal this past weekend with Tony Khan and the AEW family at AEW REDEMPTION PPV in the Centre Bell, home to the Montreal Habs! Especially meaningful was the Hart family's heartfelt reunion with Mick Foley (a dear friend to Owen) and congratulating female AEW/OHF Owen Cup Tournament Winner Mercedes Moné. See everyone in London at Wembley Stadium Aug 30th for AEW's ALL IN show where Mercedes and our male AEW/OHF Owen Cup Tournament Winner Will Ospreay will get their title shots! Good luck!
